MARIAN PEARL WHIPKEY
(February 5, 1925 - November 4, 2012)

Marian Pearl Whipkey- 87 of Gables Care Center, formerly of Unionport, Ohio died Nov. 4th. 2012 after a long illness. She was born in Holiday Cove, W. Va. on Feb. 5, 1925 the daughter of the late David and Pearl Stocks Ingler. She was a graduate of Hopedale High School class of 1943. Marian worked for several years for O O Francis Florist in Bloomingdale, Ohio.

She was a member of the Unionport 1st. Christian Church.

Marian is survived by a son- Donald (Mary Sue) Whipkey of Jewett, Ohio 2 Brothers- David (Bertha) Ingler of Dillonvale, Ohio William (Susan) Ingler of Bloomingdale, Ohio 1 sister- Anna Mae Maranda of Clearwater, Fla. 2 grandchildren- Nicole (Chris) King of Hudson, Mich. Andrea Keister of Jewett, Ohio 2 great grandchildren- Braden & Kailee Keister of Jewett.

Friends may call at the Hopedale Presbyterian Church at 219 Church Street in Hopedale, Ohio. On Thursday Nov. 8th. 2012 from 1 until 3 PM. With memorial services following at 3 PM. Pastor Jackie Klinesmith will officiate. Donations may be made in her name to the Unionport Fire Dept. Blackburn Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
